Dr. Margaret (Marly) Kenna

Margaret A. Kenna, MD, MPH received the Foresight Award for her longstanding commitment to the Usher syndrome community. As a founding Board Director of the Usher Syndrome Coalition, Director of the Genetic Hearing Loss Program at Boston Children’s Hospital, professor of Otolaryngology at Harvard Medical School, co-founder of the Cochlear Implant Program, and a founding member of the Harvard Hereditary Deafness Center, one would be hard-pressed to find someone more knowledgeable of Usher syndrome than Dr. Kenna.
