In 2023, the Usher Syndrome Coalition launched the idea of hosting virtual or in-person "USH Local Socials." This initiative was created in direct response to the Usher community's request to meet others in their home communities. Some states organized meetups at cafes in different locations around the state. Other states hosted virtual meetings on Zoom. In communities where families live in the same city, a few families met for dinner.

We will add locations and events here as information becomes available. If you are interested in hosting an USH Local Social in your area, reach out to your USH Ambassador. If your state/country doesn't have an USH Ambassador, contact us at info@usher-syndrome.org.
