The Social Scene

By living on campus, we have more opportunities to meet new people by joining clubs, creating study groups, etc. Becoming involved in an organization is the first step towards creating a strong social life in college. In high school, we were only on campus for about seven to eight hours then went home at the end of the day. In college, you are living on campus and have more opportunities to not only see friends but to meet new people. The social scene in college is a challenge to navigate but you are not alone because everyone is learning at the same time.

"The social scene at college is not something you can always anticipate. It is entirely up to you how you want your social life to work. In your first few weeks, be sure to go to your university’s Club Carnival to learn about the organizations on campus."
