This free and confidential registry, maintained by the Usher Syndrome Coalition, is the only registry exclusively for individuals of every age with any type of Usher syndrome, worldwide. By registering, you become part of a growing global community. The registry is our most powerful tool to connect the community, learn about the community, and support research.

משרד הרווחה (רש"ט): דרכו אפשר להוציא תעודת עיוור, דמי ליווי, סל תקשורת. תעודת עיוור מוציאים לפי קריטריונים (אישור רופא לגבי שדה ראייה מצומצם, מרכז ראייה ירוד ובדיקת שדה ראייה).
Ministry of Social Affairs (MOLSA): blind certificate, assistant fees, communication devices. https://www.gov.il/he/Departments/units/molsa-units-vision-hearing-and-technology-service. A blind/visually impaired certificate is granted based on a doctor's confirmation of limited field of vision, poor central vision and visual field test.

אחרי הוצאת תעודת עיוור ניתן לפנות לביטוח לאומי לקבלת תעודת נכה, קצבת נכות, זכויות, מלגות ללימודים באוניברסיטה.
Social Security: After you are declared blind/visually impaired, you can apply to Social Security for a disability certificate, disability check, rights, scholarships for university studies, etc.

מגדל אור: מתמקדים בפיתוח ומתן שירותים מקצועיים, עדכניים וחדשניים ובהפצת ידע בתחומי השיקום והתעסוקה, לטובת אנשים עם ליקויי ראיה או עיוורון והאנשים המעורבים בחייהם.
