The USH Connections Conference grows in attendance each year, and our virtual events in 2020 and 2021 were no exception. Last year, 405 people - from 40 states in the U.S. and 22 additional countries - attended. 53% of participants were parents and/or family members, 29% were adults living with Usher syndrome, and 18% were professionals and/or researchers serving the Usher syndrome community.

After two years of missed in-person connection, we anticipate record-breaking attendance and participation in our hybrid this year, July 8-9, 2022 in Austin, Texas. With a focus on intentional engagement of remote attendees and increased access to language translation technology, USH2022 has the potential to be our most global and inclusive gathering yet.
