The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) was founded in 1928 and has more than 12,500 members. Their annual meeting is where a lot of the major vision research announcements occur. Dr. Jennifer Phillips from the University of Oregon just spent the week at the meeting and has been blogging about some of what she learned. She'll join us to talk about the latest research and how it might affect families with Usher.
